The AMG-specific radiator grille, the front apron with flics on the air intakes, a front splitter, and trim in silver chrome are all hallmark features of the Mercedes-AMG design idiom. AMG rear apron

The striking AMG rear apron with specific diffuser look featuring four vertical fins and two round chrome-plated tailpipe trim elements with a diameter of 90 millimetres add up to high recognition value.

The front wings, which are far wider than those of the Mercedes-AMG A 35 4MATIC, impressively reflect the abundance of driving enjoyment on offer.

Dynamic rear view

Eye-catching features at the sporty, wide rear end include the two twin tailpipe trims measuring 82 mm (Mercedes-AMG A 45 4MATIC+) or 90 mm (Mercedes-AMG A 45 S 4MATIC+) in diameter. And the distinctive diffuser look with four vertical fins. The striking design is completed by the AMG spoiler lip on the roof spoiler finished in the body colour.

Wheels and brake callipers

Optional 48.3 cm (19-inch) cross-spoke forged wheels and red-painted brake callipers round off the powerful package. After all, the power of the newly developed AMG 4-cylinder turbocharged engine needs to be applied to the road as effectively as possible.

The new MBUX multimedia system and the display style in Supersport mode make the interior of the Mercedes-AMG A 35 4MATIC really stand out. Emotive presentation and intuitive controls blend on two displays to create a Widescreen Cockpit. 4-cylinder turbo engine

As the most powerful series-produced 4-cylinder engine with twin scroll turbocharging, the newly developed high-tech power pack continues the tradition of the predecessor. It is a true performance champion with 285 kW (387 hp) and 480 Nm, which propels the Mercedes-AMG A 45 4MATIC+[1]from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.0 seconds. The S-Model with 310 kW (421 hp)[1] has even more power and accelerates the vehicle from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds. It takes the larger AMG high-performance brakes with red-painted callipers to tame this sort of power.

AMG performance 4MATIC+

The new AMG Performance 4MATIC+ with AMG TORQUE CONTROL enables racing-standard performance. Two separately acting clutches at the rear axle provide for fully variable and individual power distribution to the rear wheels as required. This is particularly noticeable in the Mercedes-AMG A 45 S 4MATIC+ when the standard-fit Drift mode is selected.
